Maltego is a tool used globally across industries by cyber security experts, analysts, and law enforcement agencies for safeguarding infrastructure and combatting cyber threats.

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Accountant (f/m/d) with a keen eye for detail to join us in our the next phase of growth. This role is crucial to support in all group`s financial activities in a dynamic environment, working closely with the Director of Finance. We are seeking someone passionate about finance, continuous optimization and hands-on problem-solving. As Senior Accountant you will support the Finance Team and have many development opportunities.

What to expect

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for mapping all business transactions, i.e. you will manage the accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger in the ERP-system NetSuite
Control the automatically generated and posted outgoing invoices
Play a key role in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and prepare statistical reports and the advance VAT returns
Oversea Intercompany Relationships and create intercompany invoices
Contact person for external contacts (e.g. banks, tax advisor, auditor and authorities)
Optimize and automatize our internal accounting and finance processes
Support the implementation of the ERP-System NetSuite with full automated workflows
Support the business on financial metrics and analysis, assisting in report preparation for internal and external stakeholders

Your profile in short

Certified accountant, tax clerk or Bachelor`s Degree in accounting / finance
5+ years of experience in accounting / finance
Solid knowledge of accounting / financial principles, including German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS standards (basic knowledge)
Team-oriented with a "can do" attitude and flexibility
High commitment to quality work, ethics, integrity, and compliance
Interested in digitalization and automation
