(Senior) Full Stack Engineer (m/w/d)

Why we need you
We are looking for a highly skilled (Senior) Full Stack Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, evaluate, modify, deploy, and document software programs and systems for both customer applications and internal end-user applications. You will take ownership of the entire development process and ensure the software meets the business needs while improving its functionality.
What to expect
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django for the backend and Angular for the frontend.
  • Build and implement new features and services, ensuring they integrate smoothly into the system architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Perform database design and optimization using MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient queries and data integrity.
  • Work with GraphQL to develop APIs and ensure seamless data communication between frontend and backend systems.
  • Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and performance.
  • Take ownership of operational tasks, including deployments, monitoring, and maintaining the overall health of the software.
  • Continuously improve code quality, test coverage, and development processes.
Your profile in short
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on both backend (Django min. 2 years) and frontend (experience in Angular or alternatively React/Vue) development.
  • Proficiency in relational databases, specifically MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of web application architecture, RESTful services, and preferably GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications for performance.
  • Ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your tech skills
  • Experience with cloud services and deployment environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration practices.
