Senior Business Systems Manager

Permanent employee, Full-time · Headquarters Munich

Why we need you
Our business systems landscape contains over 20 tools, used by all customer-facing teams at Maltego. To fuel our continued growth, we constantly upgrade the capabilities of our business systems and reduce complexity to allow for efficient, scalable processes.

As the Senior Business Systems Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing our existing tools to streamline processes and find efficient solutions for complex go-to-market processes. In addition to that, you’ll be administrating our business systems and assisting internal users with the software and processes on an ongoing basis. You will have the chance to work with many teams to understand their processes and needs, and then translate them into practical solutions.
What to expect
As part of our commercial systems function, you will:
  • Be the key contact person for all change requests around Maltego’s business systems, mainly Salesforce and our subscription management system (Zuora).
  • Responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities across Maltego's customer-facing teams as well as designing and implementing solutions. Sample projects could be “How should expansion opportunities (upsell, cross-sell) be handled in Salesforce?” or “How exactly can we implement a streamlined and scalable quoting process?”.
  • Support Maltego's end users with their questions and issues they encounter when using Maltego’s business systems.
  • Create reports, upload data into systems, and mass update orders and customer information.
  • Manage and develop a team to perform all tasks.
Your profile in short
  • 5+ years of working experience in administrating SaaS tools, especially CRM and billing/subscription management tools.
  • Relevant experience as a Salesforce admin; specifically designing and implementing effective solutions based on unstructured input.
  • Good understanding of go-to-market processes in a B2B SaaS environment, specifically around sales, customer success, and order management teams.
  • Basic experience in SQL and APIs would be a plus.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders and juggle multiple tasks at the same time. Experience  in prioritizing tasks based on business impact and can clearly communicate expected delivery times to all stakeholders
  • You are a good communicator, who understands the needs of people from different teams with different levels of professional experience and can turn them into practical solutions.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. German is a plus but not required.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
